Whether you have a business idea, are running a small venture, or simply looking to gain experience and employment, Small BiZ SA is your launchpad. Here's what you need to know:
Not at all! While we actively support entrepreneurs, we also welcome young individuals looking for work opportunities with start-ups. You can join our network to receive training, mentorship, and get matched with small businesses that need talent to grow.
There are no upfront costs. Once your business starts generating profit through our program, a 10–15% contribution is collected to help sustain the initiative. This is part of our entrepreneurship training, which includes financial literacy, compliance, and understanding tax-like contributions.
We are a non-governmental initiative. Our operations are currently powered by a private company that sponsors key resources like community halls and facilities. This gives us the space and infrastructure to train, meet, and grow. Our long-term goal is to become self-sustainable through the contributions of successful program members.
We provide business training, mentorship, branding and marketing support, digital tools, and access to community events. You’ll also connect with other entrepreneurs, potential customers, and future employees from your local area.
